Travel from UK to Gibraltar
For Arrivals from the UK and other ‘green list’ countries to Gibraltar, please visit: https://www.visitgibraltar.gi/covid-19 for more information.
There have been changes recently, roughly split into ‘vaccinated’ (both doses, with the second dose at least 14 days earlier), and ‘non-vaccinated’. For vaccinated, no tests are required before flying, however for non-vaccinated a negative lateral flow test is required no more than 48hrs before departure (some airports, such as Heathrow, offer this in Terminal 5).
Before you depart for Gibraltar, you also need to arrange for a private test to be delivered to your home for your ‘Day 2’ test when you return (the Booking/Reference ID is required for your Passenger Locator Form before arriving in the UK).
Before arrival:
Once checked in, you must complete a Passenger Locator Form at www.passengers.egov.gi (the form will require proof of your full vaccination status, or the negative test).
Next, book a free Gibraltar Covid-19 Lateral Flow Test before arriving in Gibraltar at www.covidrapidtest.gi
On arrival in Gibraltar:
Take the COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test within 24hrs (best completed at the airport on arrival)
If staying over 7 days, take a further test on day 5.
After your trip, on arrival back to the UK:
A pre-booked test will need to be taken on Day 2.
For travel from other countries, including Spain, other conditions will apply.
