Rain!

For our guests in 2025 that’s the one word that has been used a lot! Gibraltar famously has on average over 300 dry days per year, but this year has felt more like the Lake District than the Mediterranean!

Of course there’s still a lot to do – in Ocean Village on our doorstep we have great restaurants (popular local choices such as Little Bay, Bianca’s, O’Neil’s Charlies and Gill’s; and chains such as Wagamamas, Pizza Express and Las Iguanas), bars (the Arena, The Ship), the casino, Spas & Gym, Sunborn and more; while in town you have King’s Bastion to keep teenagers occupied with a cinema, bowling and indoor rock climbing. There’s a rumour of a secret cinema in Casemates too for private hire – if you find where it is, let us know!

One thing at least, is that with all that rain this year the Rock is looking very lush and green – and hopefully the monkeys are a little happy about that too!
